Before I get started, we first make agreements together about the artwork to be made, the reimbursement, the payment and the delivery. If you would also like me to arrange for framing and delivery, we can make an additional agreement about that. I can then have a passe partout cut, purchase a matching frame (possibly at an antique shop), pack the artwork well and send it to you.
Shaping artwork
Our discussions made clear what the subject of the work of art will be, how I will shape it and what the expected duration will be.
Reimbursement
The reimbursement for this is based on my estimated time times rate and the material costs. My rate is that of a 21-year-old student.
Payment
Upon order I will ask you to transfer half of this reimbursement to me as first payment. When the artwork is ready and you have paid the second half (and also for any additional work), you become the new owner and you can start enjoying the artwork.
Delivery
Upon delivery, you will receive a certificate of authenticity with the artwork, which also includes the transaction details. I attach the certificate to the back of the artwork and I thereby provide it.
